Certifying Objects Other Than Elements

In Metric Insights, all Elements and Objects including Data Sources, Datasets, and User Maps can be Certified. Power Users with Edit Access to an Object's Editor can activate the Certification setting. There is no related Privilege. 

NOTE: Certification Levels (like Bronze, Silver and Gold) are used for Elements (Metrics and Reports) only. Other Object types uses only the yes/no version as described below. For certifying Elements, see Element Certification and Certification Levels.

Access Admin > Collection & Storage > Data Sources and click the Active Name link

1.1. Open Info Tab

In the Data Source Editor, open the Info tab and scroll it down

  1. Activate the Uncertified toggle switch.
  2. [Save]
  3. Return to the Data Source list page to see a Yes displayed in Certified? column.

NOTE: In all drop-downs that display Data Sources, "(certified)" is appended to the object's Name.

2. Certify a Dataset or User Map

Access Content > Datasets/User Maps click the necessary Active Name link  and open the Info tab

  1. Activate the Uncertified toggle switch.
  2. [Save]
  3. Return to the Data Source list page to see a checkmark displayed in Certified column.
