Set Homepage to Always Open to Same Section
Metric Insights will remember the section that was last opened on the Homepage between logins, but if you want to always start new sessions in the same section, you can do so with the Default Folder setting in your My Settings Editor.
Open "My Settings"
Access User menu > My Settings
Scroll to the Catalog Display section. Default Folder is set to "Last Active Folder" by default.
Set the Default Folder
Open drop-down and select any other Favorite, Folder or Category.
